Southern Caribbean

The South Pacific is a lush and impressive biological corridor.

On the southern Caribbean Coast you can find two famous beaches: Cahuita and Puerto Viejo de Limón. These are very happy towns filled with reggae music, restaurants and bars that invite visitors to relax and have a good time. Two main attractions of the area are the Cahuita National Park and the Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge. In both, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, bird watching, rainforest and wildlife.
Cahuita National Park

This national park covers more than 1,100 hectares (2,718 acres) of land, and 22,400 hectares (55,350 acres) of marine area, including one of the most developed coral reefs of the Caribbean Coast.
