Manuel Antonio National Park

One of Costa Rica’s most popular national parks is also one of its smallest. Manuel Antonio National Park is a favorite destination for its white sandy beaches, rocky points, turquoise coves, rainforests, and abundant wildlife, such as white-faced capuchin and howler monkeys, a unique endangered species of squirrel monkey,

sloths, toucans, coatis, and brightly colored mouthless crabs. Islands and islets just offshore in the park’s marine territory provide an important refuge for seabirds.
